Description:
As the Cloud Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for working in a team-based environment supporting our customers running workloads in the cloud. This team is responsible for the modernization the application into AWs. The project links participating healthcare providers and the independent insurance plans across the country and abroad with a single electronic network for claims processing and reimbursement. Candidates will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting code in AWS and working with other teams (QA and app dev) to resolve issues with code.
Top Skills Details:
- Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and working in production environments in AWS (they use AWS CloudWatch, Dynatrace and Splunk but aren't concerned with tool, just need candidate with monitoring and troubleshooting experience in AWS)
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in directly supporting software applications is required (prefer candidates that come from a development background) ** candidates will not be doing any hands on development, they will be monitoring and reviewing code for issues within workflows, identifying problems and working with QA and development teams to resolve)
- Proficiency with SQL (they will be running queries in SQL to make sure workflows are successful)
- Experience with AWS Services is required (S3 buckets, AWS lambda, etc.)
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Analytical mindset with the ability to work autonomously
Process and technical documentation development;
Experience with ServiceNow or other similar ticket management systems;
Exposure to Jira/Confluence
